2014 National Student Ambassadors on steps of Supreme Court

During this year's National Recognition Week (June 14th-June 18th), the theme was "Dare the Difference" and our 49 National Student Ambassadors had the opportunity to present their views on youth violence to national leaders from the Department of Education, Department of Justice, and members of Congress. They were also fortunate enough to meet and have a discussion with Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and tour the Supreme Court, as well as attend a dinner at the Kuwait Cultural Center hosted for them by the Embassy of the State of Kuwait.Their writings have also been published and placed in the Library of Congress. The event was brought to a close with the National Recognition Dinner hosted by the Kuwait-America Foundation. At the dinner, ABC's Claire Shipman was the Keynote Speaker and CBS's Major Garrett was the Master of Ceremonies.
