The 2009 partnership between the Kuwait-America Foundation and Conservation International is committed to fighting the global climate crisis.
The Gala Dinner, “Act for Earth,” will be held at the residence of the Ambassador of Kuwait in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 and will celebrate Earth Day. High-level U.S. government officials, foreign ambassadors, and corporate CEOs will be attending. NBC's Tom Brokaw will serve as Master of Ceremonies. KAF has raised over $1.8 million in support of Conservation International (CI) and its efforts to mitigate climate change.
